How Do You Move On?

When you are broken, how you do move on? When you are wronged, forgiveness seems so hard and forgetting is an afterthought. Is there such a thing as truth in this world? Is there such a thing as decency, honesty, or sincerity? Is there trust? Unconditional love? Where is the constant in this variable world? How do you get past “broken” to work on “fixed?” What happened to happy go lucky? What happened to consequences being incentive to not screw up? What happened to the reality of loss?

Don’t take for granted what you have. Don’t take for granted who you are. Don’t accept things as being fine just “the way they are” … don’t settle for less, or less will settle you. Appreciate what you have while you have it, because realities can change in an instant and your bird could take flight. Don’t wait until the winds of hurt come to carry your happiness away. Grasp it with all your might, and baske in the glory of RIGHT NOW, because THIS is what counts.

Getting wrapped up in what is to come will only take the joy away from what is passing. Peace. And Happy New Year. If you are reading this, may God bless your life in ways you never thought possible. I claim happiness for your soul, and peace in your world.
