Mentally I am feeling you
but I am forced to not partake
in any type of action that
will end in a mistake.
Verbally I am trying you
seeing how you flow
it’s all for fun; no harm done
no one really needs to know.
Physically I am warning you
never too close for comfort.
Stay within that boundary-
even though we both may wonder.
Emotionally I am strained
thinking perhaps in a different time
we could have had our moment
circumstances changed our minds.
Realistically I am mentally, verbally,
and physically taken
spoken for in one of the most powerful ways
and not open for negotiation.
