SANGUINE SUNDAY: Family First!

Last week, I declared that I would put more energy into my writing. Sad to say, that didn’t happen. This was a very | long | week and I just simply didn’t have the want-to that it would take to write 1,000 words a day in my book. I’m going to try to get into that mode this week – I don’t have a choice… I MUST get moving forward with my goals or they are never going to get anywhere.

This week, my optimism lies in my parenting. I am going to make more time for my kiddos. This last week has made me seriously reflect on how precious and how temporal life really is… and no matter what is going on in my life or what I am working toward, my kids should never – not for one MOMENT – be forced into the back seat when it comes to my priorities. Ever.
